Baxter is four months old (as of 2/12) and will fetch all day long. He has a small skin issue we are working on, but it will clear up after a couple of weeks of medication. Due to how much he enjoys being outside, we'd prefer his new home have a fenced-in yard so he can run around safely off-leash. 2/9: Update: "Baxter is continuing to grow physically and mentally, just like he should! He weighed fifteen pounds last week, has pretty much mastered "Sit" and is now working on learning "Down." He will potty outside when you take him, but is still learning how to let us know when he needs to go out, so he does still have some accidents inside. He really is a great puppy--smart, fun, and soft!" 3/2: Update: "Baxter has now topped twenty pounds and is growing like a weed (albeit an adorable weed). He is very good at Sit, Down, and Shake and is now working on Stay and Come. House-training is progressing; we're not quite there yet, but it shouldn't take much longer! He also, for the most part, will sleep all the way through the night in his crate with nothing more than one or two whimpers. Baxter LOVES meeting new people and new dogs; it's one of his favorite things to do! We're hoping his forever family will have kids or at least one other dog big and playful enough to keep up with and wear him out (or both!). Baxter deserves to be spending these fun times of his life with his forever family; he's waiting so patiently!"
